Summer is almost here and so is the warm weather. It's time to go to your local Hamfests unless you want to travel. It's also time to check out your ham antennas and see if there is any damage due to the winter months. The other part of ham radio and summer is the time to install a new antenna or maybe build your own ham antenna. Get out there and try to create a ham antenna and test it. Maybe post it on youtube and see who likes it.
Yes I have to take down some ham antennas and put up some new ones. I will then see how they work and maybe put a video on this blog or my facebook page. I have some hamsticks that I want to install and see how they perform as a rotatable dipole antenna. I have some 20 meter hamsticks that I want to build as a two element hamstick beam antenna. Hopefully in the next few years we will be able to move to a location where I have more property to erect all my Ham Antennas.
