What I have learned later is that there are items that are not as expensive made by places like Mfj. The items I have work just fine and have never failed.
 So the best places to find good prices are generally Amazon and Ebay. Amazon tends to be new Ham Radio related items, while Ebay tends to be mixture of new and used Ham Radio Equipment.
